TAKE TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN g

18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
(Ecclesiastes ch 3)

  3. And amen. Will you explain his crustacean of many mouths to me? Or are those feet?

Shellfish in the OT are referred in terms of being 'bottom feeders' and therefore unclean meat; am not certain of exact reference of 'many mouths' that you give, but crustaceans do have specially developed oral cavities to deal with multifarious foods and this can look like a mouth within a mouth... Yxx (Nice question, ta!)

OOopppps, may have misunderstood your question - you may have meant THIS crustacean, (as I'd forgtten the pic that accompanied the post!)... That is the shell left by gulls of a wee crab that had clearly not moved around a lot - and those lumps are barnacles!!! Yxx

  7. those barnacles grow like crazy here, they are on anything that stays in the water. bob used to have to dive to scrape them off the bottom of his boat.
