      It is indeed - a Mute Swan - though they are anything but mute! Can be quite bolshy and hissy if they don't want you around - so yes, a bit like geese in that regard. Yxx

  2. What a lovely long neck....one of the professor I worked with live in a development called Lockmere...he ran daily around the lake and was chased daily by the resident swan couple.
