  1. I must confess to not having always followed BF's advice - and I should imagine that is the case for most of us.

  3. I do try to follow that advice, but sometimes . . .

The pansies are lovely. I planted some last fall as an experiment, and they survived the winter. They were quite pretty in the spring, but once the heat came, they didn't look so good. So I pulled them all out:(

Pansies and violas are very much a spring annual here, rarely kept beyond that one season...but joy they bring, true to their archaic name of "heart's ease"! Yxx

  5. I love pansies. Are the orange flowers pansies or something else?

  7. The pansies are pretty, but I don't really agree with the great Mr Franklin on this one. Sometimes, doubt is surely the appropriate response!
    Cheers, Gail.

To question something intellectually as a result of doubt is appropriate indeed... however, Ben was, I believe, referring to matters of action; if in doubt then your instincts are saying RUN!!! Yxx
