Quietening down, it looked and looked again, craning ever more to the sky. They never came. At least, not to this tree.

      David, believe it or not, so am I! Due to this being very much a people-oriented trip there has been next to no birding. Have heard lots, am just not getting them to lens. Did manage a couple last weekend more by fortune than design!!! That said, there is also the uncomfy process of using only a tablet on this trip... in short, any offerings will have to wait till am back and functioning in The Hutch :-) (at least six weeks) Yxx
