It made me smile seeing the roses - I have dragged and pampered two roses all over the USA with me - it is incredibly hard to find scented roses in the USA - they prefer looks over smell - but a rose is meant to be smelt and I have two wonderful ones and even when the flowers have finished I collect the leaves and turn them into potpourri
