Saturday Symmetry

Taken with the 'Nik' on standard everything.

  1. You do find the interesting things to take photos of and they are always so clever and original!! This is one of those that take me back to my childhood on my uncles farm! Thanks for sharing and for the memories, Yam! Have a lovely weekend!!

  2. I don't know. I've heard it referred to as a harrow and smooths the soil after the plow turns it.

Sylvia - yes, I can recall many happy days on the farm as a youngster!

Joanne - thanks - but harrows are more flat bed or multi-wheeled and come between the plough and the seeder... I was racking my memory cells though as this may also be related to harvesting hay (making stooks...) anyway. Fun stuff!

  4. Yam, that is what google is good for, figuring out what the hey we are looking upon. I should recognize as my husband's uncles used horse drawn equipment till the mid 1980's.
