Views from my window over the Clyde;
Not as large as last week's one but still a sizable container vessel. With one of our wonderful haar's present as usual!
Taken with the 'Nik' on auto and stretched lens...(Have I mentioned the zoom is playing up? Hopping around like a frog on Mexican beans. It requires many takes to catch a focused one!)

ReplyDeleteHari Om Deepak-ji!
ReplyDeleteOh believe me I would - it is not an option on this camera. The mechanism is an internal drive of some description (feels like the old SLR mirror did - which is a tad concerting) which quite literally jumps from side to side when stretched beyond, say, 5x the 'optical' zoom. It began small and at longer focus but is definitely getting worse. Had considered seeking a Nikon dealership to assess repair...but frankly these days it is rarely cost effective. Am ruminating upon possible an upgrade, though would keep this one for my Sun shots - as I note the lens is also now starting to wear the signs of too much solar gazing anyway!!!
when do you plan to give me lessons on how to take lovely pics :)

ReplyDeleteA fine looking vessel. I really like the misty mountains in the background.
