Bill - they weren't around long enough to worry!!
SQ - it seems to be a variation on 'museum' mode; it is a shortcut way to stopping down and altering ISO etc. Perhaps a bit on the yellow side of tone, but no flash required in the low light. I am under the impression it will be as good when in lamplight too..... watch out for that experiment!
