Having had quite a lot of fieldfares around, I was pretty sure that was what I was seeing - with my naked eye. 

When I saw what the Fudge caught, though - that blushing below the wing - I realised it was a REDWING!!! Red status and it was certainly my first sighting of one since I moved here four years ago. Only this shot, sadly.

A dredge-vessel in the Holy Loch. It's attached to the marina at Sandbank. The loch is relatively shallow and the wash of the Clyde (off which it juts) means it silts up regularly.

Thiis vessel was too far distant to properly make out the name. It appears to be a cabel layer. The freezing air between the Fudge and the stretch of its lens didn't help.
