This Grey Heron landed on the moat bank at Rothesay castle... there are no fish in there. At least, I didn't think so!

Shipping by...  have a heap of shots all piling up for position here; this lot all happened on one day, so why not here also?  It was back in May, a NATO naval maneuvers exercise, (I surmised from the number of foreign boats). I did note them all down, but won't put it all here. The inner roof structure of the Isle of Bute Tourist Centre in Rothesay; it was originally a theatre and still serves the purpose of being the local (only) cinema for the island.

I took this in colour, but post processed into monochrome with a wee touch of 'grain'.

The long lens and sat on my chair looking through the window again... I was intrigued by this little black capped red breasted fellow.... then realised it was just the shadow of the branch and it was a standard model robin!
