Saturday Symmetry
A raw and chill day but harsh with the low winter sun. Leith Water, Edinburgh - because of the deep shadow, I used the flash to bring up some of the detail of the pathway...

These pelargoniums alone blossomed midwinter - the slightest shelter brings forth life!
UPDATE;;;; Just discovered over at image-in-ing that USA is having a RED DAY - intended for clothes, but think this will fit the bill!

A White-fronted Goose, which overwinters here. Taken at Dunoon's shore walk, on a sports setting and lens stretched 5x optical.

This is the same foggy morning which has featured the last two weeks; actually this was the first photo of the day. As the ship drifted in, I noted the Ashleigh Jane was on her prawn run, and then got the two together!
The ship is the 'sister' of the Cemfjord, recently lost. This one is a regular on the Clyde - it is the Cemisle out of Antigua and Barbuda, 2000, cement carrier,
6000 t; 120m.
This one was taken with the Fudge on 'toy' function, which seems to be a 'funnel nostalgia' kinda thing.
